Well it's official, I'm going back to study my Masters of Information Studies (Records and Archives Management) at Charles Sturt University.
It will take me about 2 years to complete even though I'm studying 3 subjects only as the 3rd subject is only held in second semester.
I'm going back to work on Monday and feel a bit tensed. Excited but tensed. I'm going to work harder and better.
Next week Saturday and Sunday I'm going to Homebush for Academic Writing workshop which I think will be beneficial as it has been some time, well half a year since I've written academically. Exciting times.
This will be my forth degree. I don't plan to stop as I'm worried about my brain not being utilised and therefore succumbing to some decay!
I've recently published 3 books within this month. I'll be making them available on Book Depository, the book I published by Saint Jerome is doing quite well. I've made so far roughly AUD$20 selling my books, but I sell them very cheaply so I don't get much.
My Kindle 2 is not downloading through 3g. I was thinking of buying another Kindle but I think I can just transfer files across using my Chromebook It is just as fast and I use my Chromebook all the time.
At new years eve my dad and I saw the 9pm fireworks in the city. We ate a huge dinner at Superbowl in China town but was locked out of Circular Quay and walked till we could see another place and saw the fireworks underneath some bridge.
I'm hereby consecrating my studies to Our Lord Jesus, Our Lady, and ask Saint Theresa of Calcutta and Saint Thomas Aquinas, and Saint Joseph to help me with my studies. I ask they help me be humble and studious while still being hardworking helping my parents far more in the housework and cooking and cleaning.
Lord Jesus, I give my life to You.
Amen.
Elaine
