What an amazing trip! Going on the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth is not a cheap ride, but it was worth it!

We went to Sydney Central Station bright and early and hop on at 2pm ready to depart at 3pm.

The ride there was rocky, and the cabin was small but quaint and was big enough to hold all our luggage.

The place to eat is called the Queen Adelaide and it is where we had all our meals.

The Outback Explorer Lounge where we can order drinks and snacks such as chips, pretzels and nuts.

In one of our lunches I had holoumi salad. It was very delicious.

First stop was Broken Hill where we chose to go to see the Living Desert, a place of sculptures during the bright early morning where we also had a snack and drink.

Next stop was Hahndorf, a little German town in Adelaide. We went to Mount Lofty where we saw a koala sleeping in the trees.

We had a huge meal and was entertained with German dancers. We also stop by a strawberry farm and a chocolatier where we had chocolate tasting.

After that it was non stop till Cook where we dropped off to have a look around the little town of 4 people and wait for the train to refuel.

We also had dinner under the stars in the desert that evening, because it was Good Friday we ate fish instead of the steak and sausages. We also ate coleslaw and potatoes.

When we reached Perth we had an overnight stay and the next day we were picked up to go to Rottnest Island where we had a 90 minute bus tour around the Island. We then had lunch in the Dome and looked for Quokkas.

They are said to be the happiest animals the world!

Our trip ended when we flew the next day home.

All in all it was a memorable time and worth recommending!
