Welcome to 2023
Sunday, January 08, 2023Sorry! It has been well over a year since I had written on this blog. Since my last post, I have graduated from University, and my graduation will be held sometime this year.
I haven't done much, our workplace moved.
I have done at least 6 Conquerer Challenges so far, and a couple of Pacer Events which is a similar virtual walking challenge.
My old dog. This photo was taken sometime late last year.

She is about 14 years old at the moment.
I made heaps of rosaries and gave them away. Some to the adoration chapel, some to my local parish, some for charity work, and other parishes. Very happy that I can be of help.
Here is my new Brown Scapular that I have designed. With paracord so very strong.

Brown Scapular with attached medals |
I have about 4 medals attached to it, a St Benedict Crucifix bought from the Vatican in 2007, blessed by a Pope but can't remember which, a Miraculous Medal bought from VaticanGifts.com blessed by Pope Francis, a Holy Face Medal and the blessed Medal of St. Thomas. I belong to the Angelic Warfare Confraternity and was enrolled on February 2016. One of the conditions is to either wear a knotted cord or the medal, which is the medal I am wearing. The other is to say a set of daily prayers (15 Hail Mary's and two prayers for chastity).
My goal this year? To pray the rosary everyday, I am praying with a small group of people from the parish online, and it has been a great grace in my life I will always remember and cherish. It is one of the good things that happened and only could happen as a result of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
Another is to go to mass as often as I can. I also hope to complete the Catechism in a Year with Father Mike Schmitz. Let's hope I do all these things. You can follow along on YouTube here or see below for the Spotify podcast.
Also, I hope to exercise more or at least maintain it, I walked a lot last year and lost around 6kg and hope to keep that up, provided my knees don't give way. Going to try to watch my diet and drink more water too.
