Yes! It's the New Year! We made through another year intact! Praise be to God!

I'm taking a day off today, just working on my websites and prayed the Veni Creator Spiritus with my family hoping to get a plenary indulgence. Will need to receive the eucharist though, but can only do it later and not today :(

Last night dad and I went into the city to a secluded area we had to pay to get in. We got a really good spot to view the fireworks on a slop of a hill and we bought burger, chips and spicey buffalo wings for dinner. It wasn't really crowded but we went there quite early and it took 2 hours or so to get the food. We took public transport back and that was really crowded. It was altogether quite fun and we stayed for the 9:00pm and the midnight fireworks.

I kept thinking about God, the angels and the saints, especially Our Lady. I dedicated the year and the rest of my life to them. I thought of Mary Magdalene and how she stood at the foot of the Cross. She was really brave I thought.
